So I have been reading some blogs from high school friends and decided to start my own. We'll see if I can keep it up after I go back to work when time becomes a little more valuable.

Why the title "Mommy I have a question"....well if you know Katelyn you know why. Her questions make me laugh, make me wonder what goes on in her head and make my day among other things.

One of her latest questions while getting ready to go to swimming lessons on Monday was why do girls wear shirts in the swimming pool and boys don't. Most of her questions don't stump me in how to answer them but I had to think about this one for awhile. We have talked about breasts due to me breastfeeding and she knows that boys have breasts (because she asked if they do). So I ended up just telling her that girls cover their breasts and boys don't have to. Not my best answer but it was as good as I could do in the moment.
