So a couple of weeks ago I took a Friday off and we went to the Children's Discovery Museum in Normal. Katelyn had an AWESOME time! It was a great way to spend a day off. I have some extras this year at least in comparison to Jeff since he took a week off while I was on family leave. So today I took another Friday off. We had a full day at the zoo, lunch and ended the day with at the pool. Luke was quite interested in the animals at the pool until he fell asleep. After the zoo, diddy and I had quite a negotiation session with Katelyn on the lunch location. As we were driving past the place that mom and I wanted to go to she gave in. She had a great lunch including dreamsicle ice cream - yummy! After naps we went to the pool and Jeff joined us after work. Katelyn at 2 1/2 waffles when we got home along with yogurt and some cereal. Maybe she will sleep past 6:30AM. I doubt it!
She asked if we could do both the zoo and the pool again. What fun! Thanks Deed for going with!
