I Want a Mommy Day

So our trip to Florida was great. The weather could have been a little warmer but Katelyn did not know any better. These two pictures pretty much sum up the trip. For Katelyn there were lots of trips to the water with Aunt Merry and Bupa Ernie. They were great troopers making sand castles and sand gardens and jumping in the waves. For Luke napping summed up the trip. He napped on the beach, at the pool, at the outlets, in people's arms (his favorite) and in the car. He did not feel so great on the trip so all the napping was good for him.

Being off on vacation has caused a bumpy return to school for Katelyn. The last 2 days have been rough. I don't want to go to school! I want a mommy day! This goes on for about 15 minutes before leaving. Yesterday according to Miss Jo it only lasted about 5 minutes after she was there. Poor kid! She is pretty excited about Luke starting next week so he can go with her. I go back to work on Friday - yes a one day work week to start everything off. Might as well get back into it slowly.

Katelyn is already planning her return trip to Florida even though it was a REALLY long drive. Me too! We had a great time!
