Open It Please

When I came downstairs this morning, Katelyn and Luke were already awake and digging into their Easter treasures. No candy here! Instead Luke got a tball set which when he saw me he immediately said "open it please" who can say no to that? He seems to be consistently stringing 2 to 3 words together and is very polite saying please, thank you and welcome. Generally in the correct places.

Yesterday we made a trip to the zoo. The animals were quite riled up and very interesting to watch. We made an extra loop to see them again. Luke was a big fan of the monkeys. And then the swings in the park on the way out. This boy likes swings more than Katelyn.

Katelyn went to the dentist with me this week. I am hoping her next visit has fewer tears as a result. The hygienist was great and gave her gloves at the start of my appointment and a mask at the end. Katelyn loves gloves like that. She still has the gloves she got at the hospital when Luke was born. She played dentist that night and check Jeff and my teeth. She was very excited to play dentist at Easter but the dentist got sick. She seems to be on the mend after a nap.
