New Year's Eve

Not that I was ever a big celebrator of New Year's Eve, other than when I was in North Carolina and I remember barely being able to stand the next day from dancing so much, but tonight showed that we are truly parents. Done with dinner before 7PM. Katelyn and Luke both bathed by 7:30PM and Luke asleep by 7:45PM. We are having a movie night with Katelyn watching Cars. The one movie she has not been scared by.

We did celebrate at a kid's concert today (another sign we are old). It was great fun! And I always fix something special as if we were out at a restaurant for NYE dinner. Tonight I mixed it up and we had sea bass, butternut risotto and roasted asparagus. All very yummy! Katelyn's NYE dinner was a hot dog and blueberries. She liked the first bite of fish but not the second.

Katelyn keeps wondering why people are saying they are going to see her next year. Strange concept when you are 4. She has the days of the week figured out but that year thing not quite.

We are looking forward to another great year and wish the same for all our family and friends!
